The Focal 165 SF3 is a premium 165mm (6.5") 3-way component speaker system designed to deliver exceptional detail, accuracy and immersion throughout the entire frequency range. Combining a dedicated 165mm Slatefiber woofer, 65mm midrange driver and Focal’s renowned aluminium/magnesium inverted dome tweeter, the 165 SF3 creates a wide and realistic soundstage with remarkable clarity from deep bass through to delicate high frequencies.
Manufactured in France, the Slatefiber cone technology uses recycled carbon fibres blended with thermoplastic polymer to achieve an ideal balance of rigidity, lightness and damping. This advanced construction helps reduce unwanted resonance while improving transient response, delivering natural vocals, precise instrumentation and controlled bass performance.
The dedicated 65mm midrange driver enhances vocal presence and instrument separation, allowing music to sound more open, detailed and realistic. Combined with the aluminium/magnesium inverted dome tweeter, the system produces smooth and refined high frequencies while maintaining excellent definition and listening comfort.
